This morning we discuss the apparently odd choice of Kohelet (Ecclesiastes) to read this Shabbat of Sukkot, the time of our rejoicing. We trace Kohelet's question and answer to the meaning of life, and show how it is provided by Sukkot, partially based on the thinking of Rabbi Jonathan Sacks. We end with a deeply dramatic story from a Holocaust survivor at his grandson's Bar Mitzvah.
