This morning we discuss an essay by Heather Cox Richardson, a historian and wonderful writer whose emails I read daily. She discusses the history of Mother's Day, and the earlier history of Mothers' Day (spelled in the plural), with a very different origin and significance. I wish my mother, and all mothers Happy Mother's Day and Happy Mothers' Day!
