This morning we discuss Noah's faith that the very worst can happen. And the message of the harm befalling the Earth is directed to us today just as urgently. At the same time we explore the views of David Wallace-Wells in his recent New York Times article, "Beyond Catastrophe," that we have caused (slight, limited) improvements to the environment, and we have the ability to make the situation better.

Michael Whitman is the senior rabbi of ADATH Congregation in Hampstead, Quebec, and an adjunct professor at McGill University Faculty of Law.
