This morning we contrast God's memory, which should be perfect but seemingly is not, with our memory. Using an insight from Rabbi Avi Weiss, and a marvelous story from Rabbi Baruch Lederman, we outline an approach to "memory with mercy" which God uses for us on Yom Kippur, and which we should use for each other, and even for God, on Yom Kippur, during Yizkor, and throughout the year.
