This morning we discuss the sensitive, crucial, and (more widely than you might think for Jewish religious women) applicable issue of abortion legislation. Fully accepting that Jewish Law has a generally negative approach to abortion, with important exceptions (and the extent of those exceptions is disputed), the US Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe is bad for Jews, bad of democracy, and bad for America. My views align with those of former New York Governor Marion Cuomo. I, as always, welcome your feedback.
