This morning we discuss Chana's prayer, the subject of the Haftorah (from the Book of Judges) we read on the first day of Rosh Hashana. Why does this prayer form the paradigm for how we pray? Utilizing an insight from Dr. Aviva Zornberg, based on Rabbi Yitzchak Hutner's reading of Maharal, we trace a new and vital understanding of prayer we are to imitate each time we approach God.
