This morning we discuss the characteristics that make a great lay leader or community member, based on an address by the Rav, Rabbi Yosef Soloveitchik, in 1979. The Rav identifies three critical traits, which we derive from the first Jewish lay leader, Yosef. We add insights from Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Bender and Sivan Rahav Meir.
