This morning we discuss a poignant and revealing article by Elisha Wiesel, the only child of Marian and Elie Wiesel. Elisha discusses the shift in his relationship with his father from his younger years, to near the end of his father's life. This later message that Elie imparted to his son, is vitally important to every parent and grandparent. As we say Yizkor at the end of Passover, and remember our parents, we should ask ourselves what our children will remember about us, and work now to impart that message by which we want to be remembered.
