Philip served as a Captain in the Defence Forces, dedicating himself to multiple overseas missions and spent some time training Irelands next generation of leaders in the Defence Forces Cadet School. After leaving military life he embarked on a new journey, joining a Big 4 company and collaborating with some of Ireland's most prominent household brands on large technology change programs

He recently joined the UCD Innovation Academy as Head of Operational Innovation where he will be equipping students with the skills necessary to develop and launch their ideas. The UCD Innovation Academy offer workshops, events, and networking opportunities that foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and creative thinking among its students. Whether that's in the form of a startup, a social initiative, or an innovative project within an existing organisation.
