This is a continuation from last week, where we looked at 10 App ideas you can build for your own Salesforce App Portfolio.

In this episode, I primarily focus on how you can distribute your apps in order to share your work with the world.

When you are tasked with creating any application on the Salesforce platform, you need to ask these 6 questions:

  • Who (are your users?)
  • What (problem are you trying to solve? Singular focus)
  • When (do things need to happen? Automation Options)
  • Where (are my users? Mobile? Desktop? Lightning? Classic?)
  • How (am I going to build this? How do I share these apps?)
  • Why (am I building this app portfolio?)
