Community as followers of Jesus is often seen as a gift; especially when it’s life-giving and there’s some form of mutual benefit. But what about when it gets stale or boring? What about when it’s hard? What about when it’s painful? What about when it’s disappointing? What about when the benefits seem completely absent? Can it still be a gift?
