5 signs you've found a keeper
You don’t need a crystal ball or a fortune teller to know where things are headed with the man you’re seeing. Look for these 5 signs to tell you whether you should start thinking about taking down your profile or keep swiping.
He shares your relationship goals
This is huge. There’s simply no point in dating any man who doesn’t. Find out what he’s looking for early and act accordingly.
He’s consistent in his contact and attention over time
Any man can lovebomb you for a few days or even weeks, but a good man shows up consistently over time. It takes time to see how things unfold, so don’t rush. Just see how he shows up and you’ll know where you stand soon enough.
His words and actions match
A man who’s in it to win it says what he means and means what he says. He’s reliable and responsible. If he says he will be there at 7 he is. If he says he will call you, he does. Easy peasy.
He's a giver and he wants to do things for you
He wants to contribute to your life and genuinely cares about you. He’s not simply looking for what he can get, pushing his agenda or insisting on his own gratification as soon as possible. This is not necessarily about money. He’s generous with his time and he does things for you.
He’s interested in getting to know you as a person
He’s not in a mad race to push physical intimacy. Yes, he’s attracted to you, but he also cares about you as a human being. He asks about the meeting you were dreading, your relative that you mentioned was ill, how that project is going, etc. Because he cares about you.
There’s not a lot of guesswork here. You’ll be able to tell if a guy’s a keeper within a few weeks tops. Many of them won’t be and that’s OK. Don’t take anything personally. The sooner you move on from someone who’s not showing up fully, the sooner you’ll find the man who will.
I have a great resource to help you create your very own custom man plan so that you can find a quality man ASAP.
