In today’s episode I am talking about a topic requested by students; Stress! I had a love hate relationship with stress for most of my life but at the urging of my therapist I looked into the work of Kelly McGonigal. McGonigal is a health psychologist and lecturer at Stanford University who is known for her work in the field of 'science help' which focuses on translating insights from psychology and neuroscience into practical strategies that support health and well-being. I watched her TED talk a few years ago and it definitely had a huge impact on the way I view stress and can even see the benefits of it when I view it through a different right lens.
