If you are a dance teacher or an athletic coach you have probably heard the question, “where is this supposed to hurt?” Well, in today’s episode I am talking about purposeful pain vs. pain with no purpose. The truth is there is no progress without discomfort. If you are comfortable you are not growing. But, there is a difference between the kind of pain that is a warning sign, whether physically or emotionally, and the kind that is required to reach our goals.
