On their way to deliver the Belare scout to his crucible, the crew of the Opal Star received an alert from one of their old friends that some of the friend's people may be in danger. Since their last known location is nearby, the party decides to go and help. They follow the signal into the woods where they have an encounter a group of rabid bears who have some people trapped in a storage shed.
