In this episode we continue our discussion of the Federal Reserve. We turn from the question of whether the Federal Reserve might have been involved in the JFK assassination, and instead consider current issues regarding the Federal Reserve. We discuss the Fed's direct subsidy to private banks. We review some of the other benefits bestowed by the Federal Reserve on member banks. We also ask whether it is a good idea to give a private organization so much control over economic policy making.
