I share a part of my history that I've held in my heart so tightly for years. 

I was raped when I was 18 years old on the night of my high school graduation by someone I was really great friends with. 

Today, I tell my story and how I am beginning my healing journey after being able to talk about this for the first time in 27 years.

Now I am figuring out how to heal, process and move forward and no longer allowing that night to define me.
