Sumukhi Umesh (nee Premnath) trained as a microbiologist in JNMC and moved to Mumbai to join her husband, Umesh Mahantshetti. They have moved recently to Visakapattanam with two daughters, many cats and dogs. Sumukhi is a passionate social worker and runs an NGO working in under served communities in Navi Mumbai.
