TW. mental health, drug addiction and mentions of suicide.
In episode 11 I interview the one and only, Tim Richardson. I've worked for him for over a decade as he owns Taboo Brighton, Lust in the lanes and The Brighton Dungeon. It would be fair to say that part of the secret to all his success has been down to him living a sober and clean lifestyle. We talk about how his drinking and drug taking all began in back-alley sex shops in Soho, during the 90's. We talk about how normalised it was to be a high functioning drinker, and when things started to escalate and negatively impact Tim's wellbeing. Tim talks about how working a 12-step program is key for him to stay on track with his sobriety, to be present on a daily basis and to be in control of his mental health. I really enjoyed this interview as it was more serious than our last episode we did together on my previous project.
