Marlon had the opportunity to speak with Top Chef Amateurs, Bettina Applewhite. Bettina is a registered dietitian nutritionist as well as a school nutrition specialist that has a passion for introducing people to new foods and unique flavors. She’s also a public speaker and owns a consulting company called Applewhite Nutrition where she introduces healthy eating in manageable and fun ways to create a healthy lifestyle. But that’s not it…she is also a member of the Baltimore County Public Schools Food and Nutrition Services team where she plays a role in ensuring students have access to healthy, diverse, and delicious meals.
