Eww! That’s Creepy

#11 Wrongful Convictions: Termaine Joseph Hicks

Listen Later

Hi creepy cats, welcome back to another week of tales! To bring us into February, we wanted to tell two stories of black men who were wrongly convicted because of police misconduct. In this episode, Jackie talks about Termaine Joseph Hicks, who was wrongfully convicted of raping a woman who he was trying to help after she was brutally attacked and sexually assaulted. PSA: this story will infuriate you but sadly it is not surprising and cases like this happen far too often in America, which is why we need to continue to tell these stories until things change. Make sure to go check out the Innocence Project's website and story on Termaine Hicks that includes links to his Amazon wish-list and fundraising page!
