Joab sends a woman to manipulate King David into allowing Absalom back into Jerusalem. Absalom gets an epic haircut and sets himself up as judge to overthrow his father. Mephibosheth's supporters celebrate having someone other than David, who has gone into hiding, on the throne. King Absalom puts on a show of dominance with his father's concubine on the roof for all of Israel to see.
