Patch 8.0 is arriving imminently and the gang is ready to be quizzed on it, but first Chris/Harv is back again to chat! Rei starts and talks about what's been going on with Order of Corrupted Souls and running raids and dungeons. They also talk about how no one has time for the beta because time is running out on some Legion content. Nick brings up the Artifact Empowerment Quest that everyone has run and goes over the scenario. He mentions that the graphic used when viewing the artifact stats showing it was overpowered was triggering some people's epilepsy, so Blizzard has since removed it. Nick then mentions he's been preparing his rogue for the Mage Tower challenge, and talks about a particularly ill fated LFR attempt on Argus.

Nick brings up Wired's recently video on the History of World of Warcraft, and goes in depth about comments Ion made about Mists of Pandaria being difficult because it did not have a villain they could market on the box. He points out that Battle for Azeroth is similar, and talks about some of the difficulty Blizzard is having.

At last, it is time for the Patch 8.0 Quiz. Nick asks Rei, Eric, and Chris about the coming patch. One thing we learn is that Eric is not ready for the changes coming in the patch, as much of what he likes about the game is at risk of being removed or changed. Nick also mentions that the items to complete the free world quest every 18 hours that some classes can use are expiring in patch 8.0, and will become vendor trash.

Finally, Nick reviews WoW! Talk! episode 11, which was almost four years ago to the day, and talks about the WoD beta as well as comments that predict artifact power and finds similar thoughts about keybinding in the beta that they are seeing now.
