Vix Anderton is the founder of The Practical Balance, a platform to promote the wellbeing and mental health of founders, freelancers and other multi-potentialites.
She also helps organisations build more diverse and inclusive cultures and is an advocate for social and policy change.
Vix started her career in the Royal Air Force, serving for nearly ten years as an intelligence officer, where she gained an inside understanding of gender and diversity in the military and conflict-affected states.
Since leaving, she’s worked with a variety of organisations in operational management and women's rights; and as you’ll hear in our interview, Vix also spent five months volunteering with VSO in Bangladesh where she learned and grew a ton.
As an independent inclusive leadership and gender specialist with expertise in women, peace and security Vix now works with the UK Government and other organisations on gender mainstreaming.
