‘Eastern Lightning’ almost sounds to me like a 1980’s metal band…but that’s far from the reality of the organization also known as Church of the Almighty God (among numerous other alias’s). We’re not talking big hair, power ballads and heavy guitar rifts … we’re talking accusations of kidnappings; coercion; alleged assaults; murder; brainwashing and targeting women. All under the nose of China’s Communist Party begging the question as to whether the crazy allegations surrounding the organization are, in fact, true or whether they’re completely fabricated by the CCP.
