Felicia Jones is a retired (A) Principal, Asst Principal & High School Teacher...She has been a Motivational Speaker, Workshop Facilitator and Youth Youth Empowerment Coach. Her concentrated areas are Human Sex Trafficking, Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Child Abuse, Grief & Healing, Drug & Alcohol Transitioning.

This poem was written a while ago as a part of a presentation she gave as a Keynote Speaker at one of the many Domestic Violence Conferences she has been humbled to present.  

With the insurgence of Covid 19, the surge of domestic violence, dating violence and child abuse has risen and she needed to share this hope.

She wrote this poem in dedication to the men and women who have escaped the perils of domestic violence/dating violence and to those who are seeking the courage to get out.
