I'm sharing a little more on the unfiltered side of widowhood.

The raw and unpolished reality of widowhood is not only messy, it's a constant roller coaster. My faith in Jesus is definitely my anchor amidst the chaos of grief and the unexpected moments that leave me confused, sad, sometimes laughing... But many times on the verge of tears.

Sharing this is not easy for me and something I feel God wants me to do...Even though I don't want to do any of it. However, there is beauty in finding God in the messy middle—when life feels shattered but HIS hope still shines. Scripture has lifted my eyes and chin over and over again. God has never allowed for things to not be funny, even in the oddest of times. I has been my surprising companion in the journey of loss, for sure.
