The Manitou Incline is a hiking trail located near Colorado Springs that ascends approximately 2,000 feet in elevation (peaking at about 8,590 feet) over a span of a mile.
Over the years, there have been only a handful of audacious climbers who have hiked this trail 500 times in a year earning themselves a spot in the "500 Club". Additionally, there are only a rare few who have made it to the "1,000 club", and Rachel Jones is one of them.
Rachel Jones aka "The Queen of the Incline" is the first woman to hike the Manitou Incline 1,000 times (1,003 to be exact) in a single year, and she faced a lot of obstacles along the way.
For Rachel, joining the 1,000 club had almost nothing to do with achievement, and instead had everything to do with growth.
In this episode Rachel pulls apart her journey climbing the Manitou Incline time and time again, some days completing entire marathons laps.
We cover how to break through the self imposed limitations we all put on ourselves and go after what you think isn't possible for you.
