In this episide of Greece Chats I am with Andrea Holland.

Andrea Holland is a mover and a shaker. A 16 year Public Relations veteran who started her career in San Francisco and Silicon Valley, Andrea has managed PR teams for some of the biggest brands in consumer technology including Intuit, PayPal, SONY and LegalZoom.

In 2014 after nearly a decade in Corporate America, Andrea left everything stable- her corporate job with the Cush salary and the matching 401K, as well as her rent controlled apartment in San Francisco and moved to Southern California to try her hand consulting, building her own practice and building her own venture.

Over the next 8 years, she started building multiple PR related ventures (once of which even started in Greece!) including an early stage consultancy (DialedPR.com), RemotePRJobs (RemotePRJobs.com) and became one of the leading PR authors/instructors for LinkedIn Learning, the world’s largest online education site. All of this, while partaking in long stints of international travel in Greece, Africa, Southeast Asia and Europe, working early stage startups, speaking at Venture Capital firms and giving keynote addresses at Universities nationwide.

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Andrea is a proud 3rd generation Greek American with family hailing from Chania, Crete. We talk about all things Crete and her Greek heritage, what Greece means to her and what’s next in her career as she goes back to school to pursue a degree in Clinical Psychology.
