The holidays are meant for spending quality time with loved ones.. even if that quality time has to happen over a zoom call... As I've mentioned before, family is everything to me. My YiaYia ("yiayia" = "grandmother" in Greek) is the matriarch of our family, and I cherish her and our relationship more than I can put into words. I feel so blessed to still have all 4 of my grandparents here on earth, and I thank God for the wisdom and love they continuously pour into my life.

In this episode, my YiaYia (known as Toula to most :) ) shares stories of her childhood, her health, and her faith. YiaYia opens up about her life as the daughter of an immigrant in a broken home, both of her battles with cancer, and other various obstacles & struggles.
