The tragic events that unfolded at Robb Elementary last week drop us all to our knees.  Mass shootings should not happen.  Children should not have to fear for their safety while at school.

Teacher see all kinds of kids come through their classes, even those at risk for heinous crimes.  What, then, can teachers do to positively impact our marginalized students?  How can you connect with your students so they don't feel isolated?  What can you control.
