From our previous session, we understand that our children represent what we become in the Lord through transformation. They are the Lord's heritage in us and as such no parent ought to lay claim of their children.
He has specific desires and plans for their lives. Thus, every parent must acknowledge that they are only stewards, who are entrusted with the responsibility of working with the Lord in raising their children, in line with His will and purposes for them. Children being vulnerable require that their parents continuously intercede for them for the divine purpose to come to fruition in their lives.
In a time where marriage is under attack, Pastor Jeffrey Walter is inspired by the Lord to restore sanity and hope in marriage by painting vividly what God intends marriage to be. Throughout the month of February, by the series, “Love, Relationships, Marriage and Matters Arising”, he presents godly wisdom on what the Lord intends for marriage to be, as well as the prescribed methods by which it is to be engaged in.
In this message, "Concerning Children Part 2," Pastor Jeffrey Walter establishes the crucial role of intercession in the lives of children. He explains what is required of us as intercessors in the lives of our children. He reminds and reassures us of God's will concerning our children and encourages us not to rest until we are fully aligned with His will for their lives.
Beloved, is there anything in the life of your child that is not in agreement with God's will for them? Then, through this message, the Lord calls you to consecrate yourself as an intercessor in your child's life and not to rest until His will prevails. May the Lord strengthen and help us.
Theme Scripture: Jeremiah 31:10-16(KJV)
Key Scripture: Jeremiah 31:15 (KJV)
Thus saith the Lord; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.
