Today we will take a break from Luke as we talk about the difficult days when God seems silent.  Those days we will call the Ravine.  We look at the Christian life as moving from one mountain (when you first become a Christian) to another mountain (when you have learned to trust God) but it is the in between - the Ravine - between the mountains that God does His best work.  Those are the days God seems silent, He feels distant, it feels like He doesn't care.  But those are the times that we learn the most of about Him when we see His faithfulness through the dark times.
