To—致：这颗心对你的仰慕之情

导读：雪莱是英国十九世纪浪漫主义大诗人，年仅30岁时在海上遇难。雪莱在短暂的一生中写了许多优秀作品，其中有思想深刻的哲理诗，有清新自然的抒情诗，也有针砭时弊的讽刺诗。

这首爱情诗是雪莱的著名抒情诗之一，此诗一扫普通爱情诗的俗气。诗中采用了三音部和四音部的抑扬格，单行为四音部，双行为三音部。诗行在视觉效果上富于变化，很别致。韵式为隔行同一韵abab, cdcd,efef, ghgh, 韵脚错落有致,避免了整齐划一的韵式所造成的单调。雪莱是个歌唱的诗人， 他的诗几乎首首可颂，这首诗恰恰表现了他的诗音乐美的一面。诗人一开始就用了四个排比句，起到了加强效果的作用。句中重复出现one, profane,disdain 三个字眼，这就是典型的重复修辞法（repetition）,加强了表达效果。同时声音的回荡能产生一种愉悦和谐的音响效果。

One word is toooften profaned

有一个字经常被人亵渎

For me to profaneit,

我不会再来亵渎

One feeling toofalsely distain'd

有一种感情被人假意鄙薄

For thee todistain it;

你也不会再来鄙薄.

One hope is toolike despair

有一种希望太似绝望；

For prudence tosmother,

何须再加提防!

And pity fromthee more dear

你的怜悯之情无人能比,

Than that fromanother.

温暖着我的心.

I can not givewhat men call love:

我不能给你人们所称的爱情,

But wilt thouaccept not

但不知你能否接受

The worship theheart lifts above
