1,200-Year-Old Canoe Reveals Ho-Chunk History in Madison

Last month, a 1,200-year-old dugout canoe was recovered from Lake Mendota in Madison.
Today on the show, guest host Bert Zipperer puts this canoe in historical context with Bill Quackenbush, tribal historic preservation officer with the Ho-Chunk Nation, and Wisconsin state archaeologist Jim Skibo.
