    • Eclipse Season September 2025

Hi my love, welcome back to the Grow Through It Podcast with me Phi. It’s been a busy September and one to remember.

Today, I’m going to guide and help you unpack another astrological energetic event that carries a lot of weight the Solar Eclipse at 29 degrees of Virgo happening at the end of this week on September 21st, 2025.

Before we dive into the Virgo Solar Eclipse, let’s pause and acknowledge the energy we’ve just moved through. The recent Pisces lunar eclipse stirred up a lot not just personally, but collectively. Pisces energy can feel like standing in deep water: emotions rise, boundaries blur, and suddenly the line between intuition and illusion isn’t so clear.

If you’ve felt overwhelmed by the news cycle, by floods of information, or even by your own emotions = you’re not alone. Collectively, we’ve been wading through a lot.

Here’s the message that’s been coming through spirit: discernment is everything. Not every story we read, not every post we scroll, not every emotional reaction we have is the ultimate truth. Pisces can wash us in empathy, but it can also cloud our vision. This eclipse season is a reminder to breathe, ground, and ask: What feels real for me? What aligns with my inner knowing?

Think of it this way… you don’t need to believe everything that passes across your screen, or every passing thought in your mind. Discernment is your anchor in the storm.

      What is an eclipse?

A solar eclipse is like hitting the reset button on life. Imagine your phone freezes, and the only way forward is a restart. That’s what an eclipse does it shuts something down so that something new can begin. Think back to last week’s Pisces Lunar Eclipse.

Now this upcoming Solar Eclipse in Virgo happens to land at the very last degree of Virgo, it carries this feeling of finality. It’s like you’re reading the last page of a novel you know the story is closing, but you’re also about to step into a sequel.

      Virgo–Pisces Axis: The Bigger Story

Since September 2024, eclipses have been dancing between Pisces and Virgo, and they’ll continue until 2027.

      • Pisces eclipses: release, surrender, letting go.
      • Virgo eclipses: rebuild, refine, organise, create order.
      • Here’s what makes September 2025 unique: this is the only solar eclipse in Virgo in this whole cycle. Every other eclipse in this storyline is lunar… about endings. This one? It’s about beginnings. Think of it as the one big “launch moment” in a longer process of clearing. So, if Pisces cleared the canvas, Virgo is now handing you the paintbrush.

        History moves in cycles

Astrology works in cycles. The last time we had a solar eclipse at this exact degree of Virgo was in 2006. Before that, 1987. Even earlier, 1968.

If you’re old enough, think back: what was shifting for you in September 2006? Or in the 2015–2017 Virgo–Pisces eclipse cycle? Those themes might resurface now not as carbon copies, but as echoes asking for a new resolution.

        Big Virgo Energy

So what does Virgo ask of us? Virgo energy is like your inner editor. It notices the flaws, the little details, the places where life feels messy. That can be uncomfortable, but it’s also a gift.

Think of it like cooking in a cluttered kitchen. Virgo is the energy that says: “Clear the counters, sharpen the knives, line up the ingredients.” Once the mess is gone, you can actually enjoy creating.

Here’s how this eclipse might show up for you:

        • Work: You may see cracks in your job routines — deadlines slipping, systems not working. This is the universe nudging you to reorganise or maybe even start a new path.
        • Health: Virgo rules the body. You may feel pushed to start a new fitness or wellness routine, not out of guilt, but out of self-preservation.
        • Routines: The little things — your calendar, your sleep habits, your daily rituals — may suddenly feel unsustainable. This eclipse says: rebuild smarter.
        • In short, it’s time for a life software update. Patch the bugs, clean the code, and streamline the system.

          Karmic Emotional Undercurrent

Because this eclipse sits near the South Node in Virgo, it comes with a release process. You might feel drained, or like something needs to be let go before you can move forward.

Here’s a metaphor: imagine moving houses. Packing up is exhausting, and you have to let go of things that no longer fit. But once the boxes are moved, you step into a fresh space that supports who you are now. That’s what this eclipse feels like.

Virgo can get hyper-critical, but Pisces (Virgo’s opposite) steps in to remind us of compassion. Pisces says: “Yes, clean up the mess, but don’t forget the beauty in imperfection.” Balance both energies, and you’ll grow without guilt.

Northern Hemisphere Autumn Equinox meets Eclipse

Here’s where it gets even more powerful: this eclipse happens right on the doorstep of the Autumn Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere.

The Equinox is a moment of balance day and night are equal. From here, nights grow longer, inviting reflection. Traditionally, it’s the harvest festival: time to gather what you’ve grown, give thanks, and prepare for the darker months.

So pair that with eclipse energy (disruption, reset, revelation) and what do you get? A powerful fusion: balance meets reset. It’s like harvesting your crops, but also deciding which fields you’re going to replant next season.

Who this Virgo Solar Eclipse Impacts the Most

If you have planets or personal points the signs of especially Virgo and/or Pisces then Gemini, Sagittarius, you’ll feel this eclipse more strongly. Same for those in the early degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn.

For everyone, the message is universal:

          • Declutter your routines.
          • Prioritise your health.
          • Build systems that actually support your goals.
          • Don’t make big impulsive decisions — eclipses can distort perception. Let things settle before acting.
          • If you’ve been feeling more tired than usual around these series of eclipses, you’re not imagining it. Eclipses stir up a lot of energetic movement think of them as cosmic plot twists that shake loose things we’ve outgrown. On a physical level, that can feel draining, like your body and mind are processing more than usual. Just like when your computer runs a big system update, you can’t open all the usual apps at the same time… your energy gets redirected toward integration.

On an emotional level, eclipses temporarily “block the light,” which can bring up hidden feelings or buried truths. That can be heavy to sit with, even if you can’t put words to it. Our nervous systems pick up on these shifts, and the result can be fatigue, vivid dreams, or simply the need for more rest. If you’re feeling this way, take it as a cue to slow down, listen to your body, and allow space for recalibration. Eclipses aren’t meant to deplete you forever but they do ask you to pause, reset, and let your system catch up to the changes unfolding.

Therefore given this especially if you have an emotional authority in human design it’s better to wait it out and ride the waves at least until early October before making big decisions.

            Eclipses and Emotions

Eclipses obscure light… symbolically, this means we’re not seeing the full picture. It’s better to wait a few days before making big decisions.

Eclipses can act like emotional amplifiers. Feelings, thoughts, and even the stories circulating in the news or on social media as well as in our own lives can feel heightened, dramatic, or overwhelming. But here’s the key: not everything that comes up during an eclipse is the final truth. Sometimes eclipses bring shadows to the surface distorted versions of the story  so that we can eventually see what’s real more clearly.

This is why discernment is so important. Before reacting, pause. Instead of rushing to make a decision or taking everything at face value, give yourself time to sit with what’s coming up. Often the full picture doesn’t emerge until days, weeks, or even months later.

Think of it like watching a movie trailer: you’re getting flashes of intensity, but not the whole plot. The wise move is to watch, feel, and take notes without assuming you already know the ending. Waiting and observing can be incredibly powerful, because it allows the truth to reveal itself in its own time.

Solar Virgo Eclipse September 2025 Journaling Prompts and Questions

The last time a solar eclipse happened at this exact degree of Virgo was in 2006, before that 1987, and earlier 1968. If you were alive, what was happening in your life during those years? Do you see echoes or similar themes today?

Think back to September 2024 and March 2025. What storylines, changes, or challenges began for you then? This eclipse is the second act in that narrative — where do you see the continuation?

What parts of your daily life feel unsustainable, chaotic, or draining right now?

If you released, reorganised, or restructured those areas, what kind of energy and freedom could open up for you?

What new routines could you create now that would genuinely support your health, energy, and wellbeing?

Where in your life do you need more structure or consistency so that your goals become easier to achieve?

Which areas of your day feel cluttered or inefficient and how could simplifying them create more space for what matters?

Virgo energy asks for balance between effort and compassion. Where are you being overly critical of yourself, and how can you bring in more kindness?

Where do you tend to focus on the “big picture” but forget the details? How could paying attention to the little things help your larger goals succeed?
