Nick, Rei, Eric, and Harv are all here to wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year! Before 2019 gets here, they first need to look at what's been going on recently. They first talk about how, due to a bug, Hunters could get the rare book to tame bloodbeasts from Heroic Zul by hearthstoning out mid-fight, which was leading to hunters being rejected from Uldir PUGS. The issue has since been hotfixed. Then they talk about Darkshore and Eric mentions that he's been doing the warfront on his feral druid. Harv mentions that he never cared for the Arathi Warfront, and Nick talks about his love of passing through the zone while leveling before Cataclysm. Nick talks about how during Patch 8.1 he's been appreciating the doubled reputation for Legion Emissaries.
As is customary, the gang looks back at episode #22. This was the episode right before Patch 6.1, which had minimal content. Nick focuses on the outrage over Twitter Integration, and how it was misplaced, but Blizzard failed to foresee the controversy. He compares it to the present with Blizzard missing the potential for outrage over a holiday sale ad that left out Heroes of the Storm. His point was that even without Activision's Influence, Blizzard struggles with public relations. Also, Nick mentions that BlizzardWatch was founded.
Nick asks everyone how they feel their class has been performing, and Nick talks about how Blizzard is stuck between trying to develop classes that have enough abilities to feel full while also keeping the amount of abilities in check. Nick rants that Blizzard needs to figure this out before the game can progress. Ion may have his work cut out for him.
Thank you for joining us in 2018 and we look forward to a great 2019! Happy New Year!
