"I can't meditate, I'm horrible at it" or "I don't have time to meditate" or "I feel so stupid I can't turn my brain off" are all things I hear far too often from the newer practitioners in the spiritual community.

→ You can meditate, it is a practice not a genetic or biological feature.
→ I promise you have time to meditate, you can achieve this state of mind doing totally mundane daily tasks.
→ You are not stupid, and we're not trying to turn your brain off.
