Julie Adreani is a physical medium, spiritualist and healing practitioner. Her background includes more than two decades working as a paramedic, alongside experience in neonatal care and bereavement counselling.
Drawing on experiences that began in childhood, Julie discusses her development as a physical medium and her involvement in séances, where she has explored some of the more extraordinary aspects of spirit communication. She offers insight into phenomena including ectoplasm, independent voice communication and spirit materialisation, as well as the role of trance in physical mediumship. Julie also examines the challenges of working in a field often met with scepticism, the importance of ethical responsibility and the relationship between mediumship, spiritual healing and personal experience.

My earliest memory of being able to see and sense spirit was at the early age of four. My guardian in a suit and derby hat has served me well through the years. I can’t and don’t take credit for my abilities, God made me this way. I’ve dedicated my life to God and my family with a high degree of paranormal ability thrown in. This is a very natural and undeniable ability. The more I use my abilities the more balance I find in my daily life. 
I grew up and have always lived in the Chicago metropolitan area. To me being a medium is not a profession so much as it is a life of service. My experiences have given me an existence that is very personally and professionally fulfilling. This work is very humbling. I am forever grateful and thankful. I feel like I’m living life at my fullest. My family and home are my favorite things. French cheesecake is a serious weakness, and as my girlfriends can attest to. I also like liquid spirits and can yap endlessly when in the company of both. My goal is to have everyone walk away in a better place than before they met me.  The deceased have so much to share about what creates a happy successful life and it is my great honor to share their messages.

This week I am talking to Matt Mckay about his book 'Seeking Jordan: How I Learned the Truth about Death and the Invisible Universe'.

Tammy Julien experienced a profound near-death experience during a home birth that went critically wrong, an experience she kept largely private for almost 40 years.

After suffering a severe haemorrhage, Tammy found herself outside her body, observing the emergency unfolding below while experiencing an overwhelming sense of peace, love and connection. Her NDE centred on compassion and a powerful awareness of love extending beyond the individual. As she later described it, “The love was going into the Earth.”

Following her return, Tammy spent decades quietly trying to understand and integrate what she had experienced, at a time when few people around her could relate to what she had witnessed. Over the years, the experience became an important part of her spiritual life, influencing her writing, her practice of deep presence and her work guiding others towards greater awareness and connection.

This week I am talking to Dianne Seaman about Astrology, reincarnation and quantum physics. We go over my astrological chart and Dianne explains the links she sees between these three areas.

As one of the first to be certified as a Past Life Therapist by the IBRT, Dianne has led clients into this particular unconscious terrain for over thirty years. Dianne has presented workshops at Past Life Therapy [APRT, IARRT] conferences starting in 1986. She has also given lectures and day long workshops in Past Life Therapy to Jungian Psychology groups around the country, such as The Jung Society of Atlanta, The Round Table Associates in Philadelphia and the Central Indiana Friends of Jung in Indianapolis, as well as Columbia University in NYC. She recently assisted Carol Bowman in 3-day training programs in Regression Therapy for psychologists, supervising student regressions.

Dianne considers Regression Therapy a powerful healing modality. While there are no quick fixes, this therapy works on a deep energetic level beyond what talk therapy alone can reach. It has the potential to yank out the  weeds  / undesirable patterns in our unconscious, our lives/ by the roots. Once the roots of a pattern have been addressed, those  weeds / patterns do not grow back.

In her work with clients, whether using Regression Therapy, Psychological Astrology or Voice Dialogue, Dianne emphasizes the importance of self-knowledge. Encouraging people to trust their own experiences and assisting them to awaken to deeper truths within themselves, Dianne draws first from inner experiential knowledge, then balances and validates that from outer sources. This episode explores some of the most striking cases in The Phenomena of Astral Projection by Sylvan Muldoon and Hereward Carrington, first published in 1951. The book gathers reports of people who claimed to remain conscious outside the physical body during serious illness, accidents and the approach of death. Although Muldoon and Carrington described these experiences as astral projection, many of the details sound remarkably similar to what would later become known as near-death experiences.
The episode looks at the case presented by Sir Auckland Geddes, involving a seriously ill doctor who believed he separated from his body and watched events taking place around him while medical treatment was being carried out. It also examines the experiences of M. J. Johnson, who described observing his family from outside his body and, during a later episode, moving through a dark environment towards his deceased wife.
Other cases include Alexander Dribbell, who believed he was conscious outside his body during a period of illness, and an account recorded by Emil Mattiesen involving a childhood medical crisis and a viewpoint from near the ceiling. These older reports contain themes still found in modern NDE accounts, including clear awareness during physical collapse, separation from the body, movement through darkness, encounters with deceased relatives and an abrupt return.
The episode also turns to reports surrounding death itself. Joy Snell claimed to have witnessed unusual forms around dying patients and described a man who said he could see his deceased son shortly before death. Dorothy Monk reported that several family members saw a strange cloud and lights around their dying mother. The extraordinary Hoffmann case tells of a five-year-old boy in 1885 who was believed dead, buried, and later revived after his mother repeatedly dreamed that he was still alive.
These accounts do not perfectly match the modern near-death experience, but the similarities raise an interesting question: were people describing the same basic phenomenon long before the term NDE existed?

On September 19, 2010, author Lorri Brewer, was faced with the greatest challenge of her life. Her cardiac condition worsened and she was rushed to the hospital where she lost her life for just almost two minutes. She crossed over from this living plane to another energetic dimension suffering a near-death experience (NDE). Today this verifiable near-death survivor shares her intimate experience with death, the after-effects she continues to suffer from, and her inspirational insights on our world today. "My intentions in writing this book are to tantalize the mind, stimulate the heart's emotion, strengthen the foundations of faith, and inspire personal hope," said Brewer.
