In Part Two of Caelum's story, we go deeper into the writings and experiences he has shared with his family since learning to communicate through facilitated communication.
Joining Caelum's mother, Anne-Marie, is his brother Jacob, who has spent years communicating with Caelum and documenting his thoughts in journals. Together, they share Caelum's reflections on God, consciousness, death, and what he says he experienced during the time he was outside his body after his drowning.
Caelum describes being given a choice to remain in the presence of God or return to this reality, and explains why he believes he came back with a purpose: to teach. He shares his understanding of what happens after death, what he calls different “realities” and levels of consciousness, and the role of love, service, and free will in our lives.
We also hear some of Caelum's poetry and reflections on his paintings, as well as stories about the unusual ways his family says he perceives the people and world around him.

At 17 months old, Caelum Miller suffered a near-fatal drowning that left him with a severe traumatic brain injury. Doctors told his family he would likely remain in a vegetative state for the rest of his life. But his parents refused to close the door on what might be possible.
Years later, Caelum learned to communicate through facilitated communication and began sharing thoughts, memories, and experiences that his family says challenged everything they understood about his consciousness.
In this episode, Caelum and his mother, Anne-Marie, tell the story of his remarkable recovery and the moment communication changed everything. Caelum describes what he says he experienced while outside his body, including an encounter with a deceased musician he had never met, and shares his perspective on God, consciousness, and what he believes happens beyond this physical world.
We also hear from Anne-Marie about the skepticism surrounding facilitated communication, the years of journals documenting Caelum's words, and what it has meant for their family to discover a voice they were once told they would never hear.

In this bonus episode from our partner series The Telepathy Tapes: Now What?, Betsy and Libby sit down with Dr. Zach Bush for a conversation about one of the ideas at the heart of their experiences as parents: what if our children are perceiving the world in ways we have forgotten how to perceive ourselves?
The conversation begins with nature. Betsy reflects on how her son Joe is drawn to the earth, water, and the natural world, while she often finds herself caught up in the worries of everyday life. From there, Zach explores his belief that life is fundamentally built through relationship and that many of us have become disconnected from that sense of interconnection.
They talk about autism, sensory experience, food, the microbiome, and why Zach believes some nonspeaking autistic people may be deeply attuned to environmental signals that others have learned to filter out. They also discuss parenting, the exhaustion of trying to control outcomes, and what can happen when caregivers begin to follow their child's lead rather than constantly trying to make their child fit into the world around them.
For parents who have spent years asking What do I do?, Zach offers a different question: What happens if we become quiet enough to notice what our children are already showing us?

Grammy-nominated artist Willow Smith joins Ky Dickens for a deeply personal conversation about music as medicine, dreams as creative portals, spirituality, and the mystery of human connection.
Willow shares how a lifetime of curiosity - from sacred traditions and nature to science and consciousness - has shaped her creative life. She reflects on music as a devotional and communal practice, the role of intuition in her songwriting, and the profound experiences that have expanded her sense of what may be possible.
She also discusses “Talk On The Hill,” her beautiful song from her newest album The Thread, inspired by the non-speakers of The Telepathy Tapes and the extraordinary possibilities of communication beyond words.

The Telepathy Tapes returns October 7 with Season 3: The Reincarnation Records.
If The Telepathy Tapes deconstructed what you believe about consciousness, The Reincarnation Records may shatter it.
On October 7th, Ky Dickens takes on one of humanity’s oldest questions in a new podcast, The Reincarnation Records: What if memory doesn’t begin at birth? If The Telepathy Tapes challenged the way we think about consciousness, The Reincarnation Records confronts evidence that could alter what we believe about death.
Around the world, young children have described lives they seemingly never lived. They remember people they’ve never met, speak languages they’ve never learned, and know intimate details about places they’ve never visited. Some describe sudden or traumatic deaths, with birthmarks that appear to mirror the injuries they recall. Others exhibit unexplained fears, behaviors or extraordinary abilities that seem to belong to the lives they claim came before. And remarkably, in most cases, simply allowing children to talk about these memories appears to bring profound emotional and even physical healing.
In a worldwide investigation spanning France, Nepal, Vietnam, Germany, Brazil, Tibet, Sri Lanka, and the United States, Dickens works with researchers and experts from around the world, including scholars affiliated with the University of Virginia and Harvard, to examine extraordinary cases and the evidence behind them. We meet children whose memories contain startlingly specific details that can sometimes be independently verified, and families whose understanding of reality has been transformed by what their children remember. Along the way, we trace the ancient debate over whether we’ve lived before, from contested ideas in early Christianity to the extraordinary Tibetan Buddhist process used to identify the reincarnating Dalai Lama.
Could suggestion, coincidence or cultural influence explain these stories? What happens when a child’s statements are documented before anyone knows whom they might be describing? And if even a fraction of these cases resist conventional explanation, what happens to the worldview we’ve built around the idea that consciousness begins at birth and ends at death?

In Season 2 of The Consciousness Cassettes, Ky explored a groundbreaking study at MD Anderson Cancer Center examining energy healing, also known as biofield therapy, in pancreatic cancer cells and mice. Now, that research has officially been published.
Ky returns to the study with integrative oncologist Dr. Santosh Rao and Meredith Sprengel, Research and Program Director of the Subtle Energy Funders Collective. Together, they unpack the study’s most compelling findings, including slower cancer cell growth, reduced invasiveness, and significantly fewer visible liver metastases in some of the mouse experiments.
Together they go behind the scenes of the scientific process to examine why frontier research can be so difficult to fund, study, and publish, especially when its proposed mechanism does not fit neatly within the current scientific paradigm. What does peer review actually involve? Why was the paper withdrawn shortly before publication by one journal? And what will it take to move energy healing research forward?
The publication gives scientists something concrete to replicate, challenge, and build upon, inviting us all to approach the unexplained as open-minded skeptics.

Can dreams and synchronicities be the Universe's way of leading you to become your best self?
In this Talk Tracks episode, Ky sits down with researcher, author, and talk show host Dr. Jeffrey Mishlove, the world's first and only PhD in Parapsychology.
For fifty years Dr. Mishlove has hosted radio, television, and podcast shows where he interviewed the top minds in frontier science, speaking with leaders in fields such as physics and psychology. Currently his Youtube channel, New Thinking Allowed, releases new episodes daily.
Dr. Mishlove has also authored articles and books on the paranormal and psychical research, including The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man.
Together, Ky and Dr. Mishlove explore the shared death experience that launched his career in parapsychology, and the dreams that guided his journey. Dr. Mishlove also shares stories from early-1970s San Francisco, reflecting on the eclectic cast of characters who shaped that era. Finally, they dive into his award-winning 2021 Bigelow Institute essay, which presents compelling evidence for the survival of human consciousness after permanent bodily death.

What happens when someone seems to experience another person’s death from the inside?
In this episode of The Talk Tracks, Ky explores the little-known phenomenon of shared death experiences - reports in which a loved one, caregiver, or even someone far away from the dying person describes seeing, feeling, or briefly accompanying part of their transition.
We hear extraordinary firsthand accounts from Christine Coyne and Elizabeth Boisson, as well as the story of Dr. Joan Borysenko and her son, who both reported unusual experiences as Joan’s mother died. Researcher William Peters explains the patterns his team has identified across more than 150 reported cases, including a surprising number that occurred remotely, sometimes before the experiencer even knew a death was taking place.
Ky also speaks with neuroscientist Dr. Marjorie Woollacott and physician Dr. Monica Williams about what these accounts may tell us about consciousness, the limits of our current scientific models, and why healthcare providers should be prepared to listen when patients and families report experiences they cannot easily explain.

Astrology is often reduced to sun signs and daily horoscopes, but its history and practice go far deeper.
In this episode, Ky sits down with New York Times bestselling author and astrologer Chani Nicholas for a wide-ranging exploration of what astrology actually is, where it comes from, and how it has been used across centuries. Chani breaks down the basics of a birth chart, rising signs, houses, planets, and timing techniques, while tracing astrology back to ancient systems of observing patterns between the sky and life on Earth.
Together they explore fate versus free will, astrology as a tool for self-understanding and purpose, and the idea that the movements of the cosmos may reflect patterns unfolding within a larger, interconnected reality. Chani explains the major astrological shifts happening now and what previous cycles might suggest about the moment we’re living through.
Whether you’re deeply versed in astrology or have never looked beyond your sun sign, this conversation offers a fascinating introduction to the history, philosophy, and practice behind one of humanity’s oldest systems for making meaning of the sky.

How do we learn to recognize and strengthen our intuition, and what might change if we were given language for it as children?
In this preview of a Backstage Pass bonus episode, our Producer, Solina Kennedy, sits down with Jen Lansink and Kate Trotter, authors of Clair and Her Magical Friends, a children’s book introducing four intuitive senses: clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, and claircognizance.
Together, they explore how these abilities can show up in everyday life, why they may be easier to recognize in childhood, and how parents and caregivers can create space for kids to talk openly about unusual feelings, knowings, dreams, and perceptions. They also share simple ways adults can begin paying closer attention to their own intuition.
