Today’s episode truly embodies the spirit of perseverance, partnership, and possibility. Hayley is joined by the incredible brother duo, Brent Pease and Kyle Pease, the inspiring force behind the Kyle Pease Foundation.
Born with cerebral palsy, Kyle relies on Brent to be his legs on race day but what they’ve built together goes far beyond the finish line. Fueled by Kyle’s relentless determination and their shared passion for inclusion, the brothers have become world-renowned athletes and advocates, redefining what’s possible both on and off the race course.
In the past year alone, Brent and Kyle completed the Boston Marathon in an astonishing 3:01, securing second place among all Duo Teams, set a new world record at the IRONMAN World Championships for the push-assist division, and raised over $1 million for their Inclusive Employment Program, creating meaningful job opportunities for people with disabilities.
Together, they’ve completed more than 150 races, helped their nonprofit raise over $10 million, and inspired countless people worldwide with their powerful message: Pushing Beyond Limits.
In this deeply moving conversation, we explore:
✨ Kyle’s experience living with cerebral palsy and what he wishes more people understood✨ The moment they realised their story was bigger than just the two of them✨ The emotional and physical realities behind push-assist racing✨ Why inclusion in sport and employment is so personal to their mission✨ The brotherhood, resilience, and mindset that keep them moving forward✨ Their message of hope for anyone facing their own “impossible” mountain
This episode is a beautiful reminder that inclusion is something we actively create, through our choices, our advocacy, and the way we show up for one another💛

The Before You Bloom Podcast is recorded on the lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. I would like to recognise their continuing connection to land, water, and culture and pay my respects to their elders past, present, and emerging, and any Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people listening today.
