TEN: With Honor
Exodus 20:12

Main idea: We honor God with obedience to the Father, as Jesus did.

The parent/child relationship is symbolic of the God/man relationship (Exodus 20:12; Ephesians 6:1).

Honor is given in obedience (Ex. 20:12; Eph. 6:5).

Obedience carries obligations of conduct (Ex. 20:12; Eph. 6:4-9).

Obedience results in God’s promised blessings (Ex. 20:12; Eph. 6:2-3).
