HOW WE PRAY TO GOD:
• We pray fervently, with purpose (9:1–3).
• We acknowledge God’s sovereignty (9:4, 7).
• We confess our sin to God (9:5–14).
• We remember what God has done (9:15–16).
• We petition God for forgiveness (9:17–19).


WHY WE PRAY TO GOD:
• Because God hears our prayers (9:20–23).
• Because God has a plan to save us (9:24–27).

Daniel: Purpose
Daniel 8:1–27

Main idea: We live now for Him who holds the future.

Daniel: Promise
Daniel 7:1-28

Main idea: God is in control. 


God guaranteed his sovereignty (7:1–8).

• Theological significance: God is sovereign.
• Eschatological significance: Jesus Wins.
• Christological significance: Jesus is the Son of God.

God assured his judgment (7:15–28).
