Indicatives & Imperatives
Ephesians 1:1-6:24
Main idea: We live in grateful obedience for what God has done.
Indicatives declare what God has done for us (Ex. 20:1–2, Ps. 105:1–44, Eph. 1:1–13; 2:4–10, 13; 3:14–21).
Imperatives command how we should live in response (Ex. 20:3-17, Ps. 105:45, Eph. 4:1–3, 17, 25; 5:1–2, 6–7, 15–17; 6:10-20).
Living in obedience is a response to what God has done for us.
