It was a chaotic weekend of college football to say the least! This episode I cover the big upsets from Week 6 with Vanderbilt shocking #1 Alabama and Arkansas knocking off #4 Tennessee. Additional topics discussed include Miami surviving yet again, Missouri finally getting exposed, and UNC making it three losses in a row as their season continues to slip away.
It's been a minute since we've talked some hoops! With UNC Basketball's season just a month away, I give my initial thoughts on the roster Hubert Davis has assembled along with some early expectations for the team this year. I also break down the Karl-Anthony Towns/Julius Randle trade between the Timberwolves and Knicks and discuss who I think won the trade and why.
On this Monday episode, topics on the table include a recap of the Georgia vs. Alabama game, UNC's late collapse against Duke, and looking at teams around the NFL that are on either on the rise or in trouble.
This episode I talk about the current state of UNC Football, looking through the scope of their embarrassing loss to JMU last Saturday and Mack Brown's second stint with UNC as a whole. I then give my verdict on Brown's shortcomings in Chapel Hill and decide if it is time for the legendary coach to go.
This episode I am joined once again by proud Tennessee and Carolina Panther fan Jacob Sienkowski to break down the Vols and Panthers wins over the weekend. We get Jacob's thoughts on Tennessee's elite defense that makes them a legit CFP contender, Nico Iamaleava's performance through his first 4 games, and the astounding difference in the Panthers offense under Andy Dalton compared to Bryce Young. We also get Jacob's take on whether Young's failure is more on the young quarterback or the organization as a whole.
125 Unfiltered is back and here to stay! This episode I explain my extended absence along with my desire to return to the podcast and plan to produce episodes on a consistent basis. Topics on the table include my new NFL allegiance!? Bryce Young's benching, bad NFL quarterback play, and my initial thoughts on the college football season.
It's great to be back on the mic, and I am so excited for this new era of 125 Unfiltered. Look out for new episodes every Monday and Friday!
On this special episode, I am joined by Ben Parker to talk about the Carolina Hurricanes opening round series against the New York Islanders, including the incredible comeback 5-3 victory in game 2. We look ahead at some potential threats in the East and then talk about some X-factors that can get the Canes over the hump to reach the Stanley Cup Final.
Two new dynasties have been born in college basketball! This episode I recap the men and women's Final Four, talking about UConn and South Carolina's dominant runs that brought them yet another national championship.
This episode I preview the Men's Basketball Final Four! I discuss how Alabama and NC State can pull off the all-time upsets but then give my reasons for why I think UConn and Purdue will ultimately come out on top.
This episode I recap UNC's heartbreaking loss to 4-seed Alabama in the Sweet 16, ending the Tar Heels season. I break down the three main reasons UNC lost this game while also looking at the smaller turning points in the game that made the Heels fall just a little short in their efforts to reach the Final Four.
