125. Why Organizing Doesn’t Work. Messy Closet Gets Professionally Organized and Weeks Later, It’s A Mess Again...
Hey Friend,
Want to know Why just organizing doesn't fix the problem? Why your linen closet looks awful when you just had a professional organizer fix it a few months ago...?
The organization has to be functional for each of the people who use it! Sometimes the problem is too much stuff in the space, sometimes the problem is the way it is organized doesn't work for everyone who uses it, sometimes, it's because it takes too much time to put things back or it is too difficult, like moving boxes around and unclasping lids...
That's why the cube shelves and bins have been so popular, because they are so easy to use! But, even those don't work for everyone. Some people who need to see what they have!
I love helping my clients understand the why behind their clutter and creating simple solutions to the things that were causing so much frustration before.
One of the things that reassures me the most are when clients tell me years after a project, that they are still keeping it organized, because the systems we put in place are EASY to maintain!
