Evan Carter is an outfielder for the World Series Champion Texas Rangers. His story is remarkable in that he got called up to the Major Leagues a week after his 21st Birthday. He played his way into the starting lineup and ended up batting in both the 2 and 3 spot in the World Series.
Evan set multiple records in the postseason including being the first player ever to hit 9 doubles. He also reached base in all 17 games and is one of the youngest players ever to bat 3rd in a World Series game. As remarkable as that is, that's not the most notable thing about Evan.
From the day he was promoted to the big leagues, Evan has been bold in his faith in Jesus. He wore a Jesus Won shirt on his debut and did all his press interviews in that shirt. He has been bold and outspoken since day 1 and continues to use his platform to spread the gospel and be a light.
In this episode, we talk in depth about Evan's journey of faith and hear how God intervened. We also hear how his faith grounds him and gives him the perspective that allows him to remain even headed in high pressure situations. Don't miss this episode.
