Having goals, achieving the goals and setting new goals is an excellent vehicle for growth.  I am always

blown away by the idea that you are 42% more likely to achieve a result when you simply write it down.

You don’t even have to read it every day.  Just write it down. 

Just as important as having a goal, in my opinion as a goals expert, is taking a break.  A planned break.
