Planned Obsolescence – A policy of planning or designing a product with an artificial use, becoming obsolete after a certain amount of time.
Clamoring – Shouting loudly or insistently for something.
Hypothesize – Estimate or take an educated guess at something.
Windfall – A piece of unexpected good fortune, typically one that involves receiving a large amount of money.
Divulge – Make known private or secret information.
Expendable – Of little significance when compared to an overall purpose, and therefore able to be abandoned.
Leverage – The power to influence a person or situation to achieve a particular outcome.
Backfire Effect – When you find out that evidence against what you believe or want to do, it only makes you more diligent in your belief system.
Neophytes – A person who is new to a role, skill or belief.
Panacea – A solution or remedy for all difficulties or diseases.
Insurmountable – Too great to be overcome.
