Charleston Quinn has always lived for artistic expression. His soul has always led him to absorb the struggles, joys, fineries, and subtleties of the human experience so that he could give us his unique reflection of them. Though he is a multi-instrumentalist, he makes his bread and butter in the lower end of the register, having been the bassist for acts based up and down California and across Europe, and most recently taking part in the funky and triumphant return of O'Bryan. Daddy Q sits down with us at the Bass Exchange in North Hollywood to talk about how he found that voice and what it takes to develop whatever voice you find.
